Child and Family Foster & Kinship Support

We thrive on building and maintaining a team of compassionate, and supportive workers with a common objective of maintaining family connection while mitigating child protection risks.

If protection cannot be mitigated, kinship placements are priority.

Kinship is the preferred placement for children in care. Becoming a kinship caregiver has both joys and challenges.” -Alberta Foster and Kinship Association

“Taking care of our own” comes from the notion and heart of working as a Delegated First Nation Agency (DFNA)  under the child and youth enhancement act.
